Venetiko Island is an uninhabited rocky Island south of Cape Akritas, the southest Mainland Point of Messinia in the southwest of Peloponnese.
  • it belongs to the archipelago Messenian Oinousses
  • in ancient time, it was named Theganoussa, also Tegani
  • in venecian period, it was alo named Insula Venetici, San Venetico and San Nicola
  • its peak is 181 m heigh
  • most of Venetiko is covered with scrub
  • on the westside, there are deep cliffs
  • in the north, there is a navigational light.
  • Venetiko is part of the village Vasilitsi and belongs to Dimos Pylos Nestoros
